I visited the famous Mainamati museum some years ago. There were daily used things, furnitures and paintings by the ancient people of around 1000 years ago. They hold an image of their lifestyle. We were totally charmed by those things.

Mainamati museum is located at the cantonment area. We went there hiring a CNG. After reaching we entered the place by paying a minimum entry fee (10/20 tk, I don't remember exactly). We were mesmerized seeing the things of huge antiquity.

Mainamati museum consists of the ruins & things found while doing excavation in the Shalbon Bihar. So they hold great historical value. If you’re a history and anthropology fan, you must give it a visit.

We visited the Mainamati museum last year. There were ancient things discovered and used by people of ancient culture and civilization. Some things resemble things we know and still use, some seemed unknown. There were description of each thing with that.
