What Ripon Hossain saying about this place:
The temple is new and an epitome of modern Thai architecture. So we found it really beautiful. At the entrance of the stairs, the are two large golden colored dragon snakes at two sides to welcome you. The building is marble white with a large golden colored Buddha statue on its terrace top. The temple is well decorated and well maintained.

EditThis artistic Buddhist shrine is known as one of the "monasteries of peace" among Buddhists in Southeast Asia. In 2014, a 30-foot-tall Buddhist statue weighing about 6 tons was erected in Bihar as a gift from a gift from the Buddhist Foundation of Thailand.
EditUpon entering the nobo Shalban Bihar, the first thing that can be seen is a huge golden Buddha statue. Next to the statue are two lions of the same color in a royal position. This ornate temple is surrounded by 3 large and 1 small pots. There are also meditation centers, Shalban Bihar, orphanages, libraries, museums, seminars and residential hostels.
EditNobo Shalban Bihar is located at Comilla University Road, Shalmanpur. It's near the Shalban Bihar, Cumilla.
EditThis place is really near the Shalbon Bihar. It's a walking distance. And this is place equally hot as the Shalbon Bihar. So walking without shoes were difficult for us. But as it's a holy religious place, we had to abide by the rules. Shoes are well kept, so they can't be stolen. The architecture of that temple kept us awestruck. We didn’t expect to see something like this in Bangladesh.

Nobo Shalbon Bihar is a new addition to the tourist places of Cumilla. It's a modern Buddhist temple totally built under the patronization of Thailand. So this temple will make you feel you've come to Nepal, Bhutan or Thailand. You'll have to enter this place with your shoes off. So be careful a bit. Our feet were burning because of excessive heat. Yet we enjoyed the place a lot.
