This park is very clean and will give you a traditional and historical vibe. Every year, the nation celebrates the Bengali New Year( Pahela Boishakh) here. People visit the park in the mornings for jogging. It’s a nice place to roam around the park or sit on the benches to feel nature wholly.

Ramna Park is a lovely huge park and a recreational area situated at the heart of Dhaka. It’s one of the most amazing places in Dhaka with lots of ancient trees and a beautiful lake in the center. There are many sitting places inside the park with many flower gardens. You must keep it in your visit list.

In Ramna park, you will find Laughing clubs, Exercise clubs, Walking clubs present and full of lives from dawn to early morning. As time advances, normal passers-by and couples enjoy the beauty of the park. They normally come at the afternoon. The park usually closes at evening due to security concerns although security is tight and the area itself is secured enough as the area is a quite VIP area having important offices.

The urbanization has shortened the area of the park as it was before but couldn’t diminish its beauty. There are 6 gates throughout the park and walkways surrounding the park. Lots of people come here for morning walks & jogging. They calm themselves in the midst of nature while taking care of their health. My father is one of them.
