Shamser Gazi was a ruler of Roshnabad and Tripura in the medieval era. He was known as Tiger of Bhati. He had dug many ponds and named them after himself. Among them, one is in Feni about which we are talking today. The area is a park now with entertainment opportunities. We went there in order to spend some relax time. The place didn’t disappoint us at all. It was a nice experience.

Shamsher Gazi had dug a vast pond in chagalnaiya during his reign in Tripura. That's where today's Shamsher Gazi Pond and Park is situated. His reinterpreted fort has been turned into a resort. The whole area is full of greenery and flower garden. It's a clean park and picnic area.

We went there by bus from Dhaka to enjoy our office picnic. It's in the center of Chagalnaiya of Feni. The lake is so soothing that it melted our hearts. Blue water with green grass and trees created a majestic scenario. The was was clean. Fresh wind of the area welcomed us there. The park is well managed by the authority.
