This gonobhaban is the perfect example of a Zamindar bari. Built by Raja Doyaram, it is still as beautiful as it was initially. It has a round clock on its front gate with a large bell and a clock room. These features give the gonobhaban a very aesthetic look. Visited the place in 2019 and had a great time with my family there!

The 18th century royal palace, Uttara Ganabhaban, is also known as “Dighapatia Palace”. It used to be the seat of the Dighapatia Raj, an aristocratic landed estate in the East Bengal of India. It is as fine as a zamindar bari and it was built by Raja Doyaram who happened to be the minister of Rani Bhavanee. It is situated in Natore, Bangladesh. It's 159 km away from Dhaka.

There is a museum just inside the Gonobhaban and it's known as the Uttara Ganabhaban. The museum inside was established on March 9, 2018. People around the country visit the museum regularly. This museum was inaugurated by the cabinet secretary and it is still in a good condition at the moment. A very well structured place indeed.
