Great historical area where Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj resided in his earlier times. In the 1630s, Shivaji Maharaj's father, Shahaji Bhosle, renovated it for his family to dwell. Outstanding Maratha architectural landmark that has been well-maintained. There are occasions when there are no visit charges. A must-see and strongly recommended destination. What an Inspiring location!
