Dibar Dighi is a lake of the early ninth century. Local people have a belief that the lake was dug within one night by a jinn. But actually it has s long history of war between Dibyak and Mahipals the 2nd. The mound in the middle of the lake carries the symbol and significance of that war. Boating is available in this lake. While visiting the place, we enjoyed a nice boat journey on a sunny afternoon. It was a beautiful trip. The vibrant green trees nearby gave us a majestic vibe.

Dibar dighi is situated at Dibar village, on the northern side of Nazipur- Sapahar highway in Patnitala upazila of Naogaon district. The lake currently comprises an area of 20 acres of land with a mound topping in the middle spreading over 100 acres. The mound is beautifully designed. It's called Kaivarta Stambha. In 1939, the central government declared Dibar Dighi to be a heritage site.
