EditTaft Museum of Art is a dynamic monument in downtown Cincinnati, where art and history coexist. Taft Museum of Art, which was built around 1820 as a private dwelling for several of Cincinnati's most distinguished residents, is today one of the premier regional art museums in America, and a National Historic Site for its immaculate historic property. This 200-year-old townhouse is home to a vast assortment of European and American great works, 17th-19th century timepieces, Chinese porcelain decorative objects.
EditThe museum is incredibly knowledgeable and interesting. I wandered throughout on my own and had a fine experience just seeing in all of the artworks. The museum is so magnificent that you'll find historical gems and relics hidden in every nook and corner of the period-inspired chambers. Guests can enjoy spectacular exhibitions, the historic outdoor garden, Lindner Family Café, events for all ages across its premises. Everything is under one roof, resulting in a one-of-a-kind, multi-sensory extravaganza that deludes you in art and history. The architecture alone makes the experience rewarding.
