Umpqua Hot Springs is a biologically active complex of geological reservoirs located deep within Oregon's national forest. The Umpqua Hot Springs camp site is 2.2 miles down a hilly, pothole-infested route. The spectacular landscape and rich natural resources of the Forest have been surrounded by High Cascades glaciation, whitewater creeks, and ancient volcanic experiences.
