Kakina Jamidar Bari is about 368 kilometres away from Dhaka. We went to Lalmonirhat by bus from Dhaka. Then reached the Kakina bazar bus stand. The Jamidar Bari isn’t far from the bus stand. We went there by rickshaw and visited the age old relics of the royal palace with great satisfactory.

EditIt was founded in 1687. It was a property of the king of Kuchbihar whose name was Mod Narayan.
EditIt's mostly abolished now. A four storied building named Hawai Khana is still there. And the main building is used as Uttora Bangla College.

Kakina Jamidar Bari seemed more of relics to us which holds great historical value to the country. There is no specific royal thing remained. We wander around the hawa khana, the doctor khana and the tower. We really liked the shahi pond. It was a peaceful place.
