Very chill place, has a fish ghat on the side where you can fined fresh fish from the river. Beautiful sight and must say it is a proud factor for our country. Transportation system is very convenient. Leguna/CNGs are seen to be widely available.

EditAny Lakhipur bus from Dhaka to Jhumur (450 taka), or from Jhumur to Alexander Jawar local laguna or CNG (Rent 35 to 50 taka). Anyone visiting Alexander Station will be able to see the Meghna Beach.

Its no new information that meghna river is beautiful but to have a beach around it is just mesmerizing! This tourist center in lokkhipur is one of the soothing views of mother nature. Visiting the beach in afternoon is an absolute delight. 9/10 recommended.

Another amazing sea beach apart from Cox bazar in our country. Fresh fishes, beautiful greenery, sunset - all in one is just a great package.The place isn’t very crowded all the time I’d day, people mostly visit in the afternoon. The bus journey is also top notch. Took a bus from Dhaka to Jhumur and then took a laguna to reach the beach. Our reaching travel expenses were done in just bdt 500 in total. Not much hassle!
