Nilgiri is one of the tallest peaks of Bangladesh having a height of 3500 feet. It is a beautiful tourist spot in Thanchi thana, Bandarban, Bangladesh. It is about 46 km south of Bandarban on the Bandarban-Chimbuk-Thanchi road. The beautiful greenery and cotton like clouds in an ocean blue sky are unexplored options for the city dwellers!!

We went there by a "Chander gari" with a group of tourists. We started at very early in the morning sacrificing our sleep. But the sacrifice was totally worth it. Panoramic beauty was waiting for us there. We felt like nature was welcoming us with her serenity. We made some precious memories there.

This place is around 40 kilometres south to the center of the city. You can take microbus or CNG to reach to Nilgiri from there. I would suggest to take CNG if the group is comparatively small 'cause it will be budget friendly. Reaching there you will be able to enjoy a soothing beauty of the nature.
