Nilgiri - The Blue Mountain

Nilgiri is one of the tallest peaks of Bangladesh having a height of 3500 feet. It is a beautiful tourist spot in Thanchi thana, Bandarban, Bangladesh. It is about 46 km south of Bandarban on the Bandarban-Chimbuk-Thanchi road. The beautiful greenery and cotton like clouds in an ocean blue sky are unexplored options for the city dwellers!!

The Baga lake is irregular in shape. A team of geologists surveyed this lake in 1973. They found the lake's water to be too acidic for any form of life. By the year 1995, the lake's water became abundant with plants and fish. The local residents culture and gather Tilapia fish in this lake. Now it's a nice tourist place. Recommended.

Chitwan unquestionably merits a visit on the off chance that you are in Nepal. It is very congenial both from Pokhara and Kathmandu. The scene of the backwoods is delightful. Nafa-Khum Waterfall

In the rainy season while water level increases, navigation by boat to Nafakhum is about 20–25 minutes journey which can be hired from Remaikree estuary. Remakree is located three hours by boat on the Sangu River from Tindu. Nafakhum is popular tourist attraction. But due to increasing number tourists, the surrounding ecology is being deteriorated these days.

The beautiful row of coconut trees will attract anybody’s attraction. This place is also very much famous to the foreigners, though due to Covid-19, foreigners aren’t seen that much. Sunrise and sunset are two most striking things you can enjoy.

Tara moshjid - Star Mosque

Tara Mosque is a great architectural beauty of late 18th century situated at Armanitola area of Old Dhaka. We visited this place in recent time.The exterior of this mosque has ornate designs and is decorated with motifs of blue stars. A beautiful front veranda is also added there. The domes and the exterior are covered with different colored star shaped china clay tiles and mosaic.

It's in the center of the Cumilla city. So going there is really convenient. Just plan a tour in Cumilla to visit all the tourist places there and go there by bus or train. You can stay at hotels there for two days to complete your tour. You can take an auto to reach Dharmasagar easily and enjoy the place thoroughly.

There's a prayer room inside of Nobo Shalbon Bihar Temple with a small black Buddha statue which was locked, the the windows were wide open. You can throw coin there in a bowl from the window to make your wish fulfilled. There is hills full of greenery at the backside of the temple which you can enjoy from the balcony of the temple. This whole place is really photogenic.

You can visit both Boga lake and Keokradong back to back as these two places are near to each other. You'll need a beginner level trekking to reach up to the top of the mountain. I'm don't like walking very much. But while i was in the Botanical garden, I walked for almost 2 hours enjoying the scenic beauty, that's why I didn’t get tired, rather I enjoyed the walking a lot. Kaptai Lake

This lake was one of the best attraction in Rangamati. We hired a boat and took a ride of three hours all around the entire lake. Boat ride was too exciting in here. All the monuments near the lake is visible from the boat like Rajar bari,Buddha bihar,DC House,Rangamati Bazar etc. We enjoyed the sunset in the lake.

I was exhausted with the city life & wanted a short tour. I wanted to go to place absolutely in the midst of the nature. I went to the Sajek valley with some of my colleagues. Felt like we are in the nature's womb. It is very remote area, so modern facilities like electricity, mobile network, safe drinking water are not very available here. But this place fulfilled my purpose of a tour to the best.

Marine drive Road

This drive extends mainly from Inani beach to Teknaf. With hills on one side and the roaring sea on the other, the drive will give you majestic feeling. I with my family were coming back from Teknaf to our hotel at Inani by this road in a moonlit night and the experience was surreal. This is the best road for long drives in Bangladesh.

We were mesmerized visited the sixty dome mosque. There are 77 domes arranged is 7 rows consisting 11 domes in each row and 4 domes in the 4 corners. So there are actually 81 domes in total. The interior of the mosque is fascinating with many aisles, bays and columns.

This place is a fun place with educational purposes for kids in Dhaka city. The kids gets to know how a tiger or other animals look like. But to our disappointment, bad smell comes from most of the cages. The cages should be cleaned up and monitored. Front side traffic and parking situation should also be improved.

We visited this beautiful place a quite while ago. The old building facades are spectacular and gives a vibe of antiquity. Nature taking over some of the houses adds to the majestic appearances of the buildings. We could take entry to one of the safer buildings and took some aesthetic photos. The rich architecture and interiors show the grandeur of that time.

It was the residence of our father of the nation where he was killed brutally with his whole family. The place will provide you with a good history lesson on Bangabandhu. It has lots of newspaper articles and exhibits on the founder of this country. The museum will give you a sad vibe. Overall, it is well-maintained and worth visiting if you want to know the history.

Green coconut are in abundance but expensive.You'll have to pay Tk. 60/- for per piece of green coconut. 4 wheel beach bikes, horse ride facility, Kites designed like birds and butterflies are also available.

I visited the Armenian church in Old Dhaka city with a Christian classmate of mine. The church seemed to have a very old history and tradition. The ashes of dead persons are still kept in the small chambers in the church's wall inside. The compound has graves with nameplates on those. It is a cultural heritage for us.

I with my family went to Guliakhali beach by a road trip from Dhaka to Sitakunda by our own car. The condition of the road is not up to the mark. So it was a bit difficult for us. Reaching there, we did boating. It's pocket friendly, 30 tk/person. There were vendors selling snacks and drinks.

Siddha Gufa - Siddha Cave

We brought a transport from Bandipur down to Dumre and strolled to Bimalnagar from where we climbed (1200 steps) up to the cavern. It was tiring yet absolutely worth the exercise. At the passage, guides invited and took us on the visit for Rs200 per individual. They give burns however I prescribe to bring your headlamp. The cavern is great and testing as you need to utilize ropes and stepping stools to traverse the chambers.
