The CDA, on the other hand, was fined Tk10 crore for cutting more hills than required under environmental clearance, and the Department of Environment initiated a prosecution against the contractor in 2020. In this case, the incomplete work of the Bayazid Link Road project is on hold since the problem of litigation and fines has not been resolved. Meanwhile, due to landslides, the CDA was compelled to reopen the route in two stages.

Bayejid Link Road connects Faujdarhaat to Shershah. This is a wide highway surrounded by hills in both sides. The sideways are full of greenery. This is a smooth clean road full of fresh air.

My brother participated in a motorbike race held in this enormous road. I went to watch it with full enthusiasm. The line of bikes looked amazing in that beautifully wide road. This road is a symbol of pride in Chittagong. We locals love to go there to hang out and click photos.
