This place is situated at Bhatiary, Chittagong. To get entry of this place, you'll need a proper identification. It's a bit away from the center of the city giving you a countryside vibe. You can take any vehicle to reach there by bargaining at a reasonable price from the center of the city. EditAfter the closure of Notunpara Golf Club in 1984, the need for a better Golf Course was felt by the then GOC 24 Infantry Division, Major General Abdul Mannaf, psc, who acted as the protagonist and succeeded in convincing the country's then President, Lt Gen HM Ershad, to develop an international standard Golf Course.
EditPresident H.M.Ershad lay the foundation stone for the Golf Course on March 18, 1984, and the related Memorandum and Articles of Association were adopted on April 5, 1984. 'Bhatiary Golf and Country Club (BGCC) was thereafter incorporated on April 11, 1984. The first Executive Committee was led by Major General Mannaf, who was assisted by three Vice Presidents:
