You can stay at hotels there for two days to complete your tour. You can take an auto to reach Dharmasagar easily and enjoy the place thoroughly.

It is known from history that Maharaja Dharma Manikya, the ruler of Tripura, dug the Dharmasagar Lake in 1458. He dug this tank to alleviate the water woes of the people of this region. According to the Rajmala, he ruled the region for a long period of 32 years. Dharmasagar is named after Dharma Manikya.

Around Dharmasagar, there are many ancient buildings and temples which gave us an aesthetic vibe. We entered into two ancient buildings being careful and clicked some amazing photos of us with the palace like buildings. Dharmasagar is a wholesome place indeed.

This place is well organized by the authority. Nicely balanced with a large lake in the front and a huge entertainment park with rides in the back. We went there in the afternoon and the place was pretty crowded then. But being a spacious place, we didn’t feel suffocation.
