Maheshkhali is the only hilly island in Bangladesh. You have to travel by boat to reach the Upazila from Cox's Bazar. So first you have to come to Cox’s Bazar. After boating, You can easily come back from Maheshkhali to Cox’s Bazar having a short distance. Besides, there is little scope to stay in Moheshkhali. So, it is a better option to come back to Cox’s Bazar for accommodation.
