Address: Dhaka

What Adita Faysal saying about this place:

We visited the Sonargaon Museum on a one day trip. The aristocracy exceeded our expectations. The place is quite large, so a full day trip is needed to visit everything. It's a place where you can feel your root. There is place for traditional shopping. We found a bioscope there which was interesting.

The museum has artifacts from the 19th century including household, military and clothing. A school made of bamboo for handicapped children is worth your time as the children are very excited to have visitors. Their excitement & smile will melt your heart. Another star attraction are the ruins at Panam Nagar. You can finish the one day trip with several eye-catching highlights.

If you have a spare day in Dhaka, you can visit the Sonargaon Museum. It took our group less than an hour in the bus to get there. Antiquity is amazing itself giving a pleasure to eyes to feel all those old stuffs left to die unused and neglected. A bit of preservation needed. The authorities should pay attention to these things.
