Several movies have been made at the Qutub complex, which is one of the fascinating facts about this wonderful location. It was here when the song Chand sifarish from the Aamir Khan-Kajol film Fanaa was shot. The best time to visit is from sunrise until dusk. For Indians, the entrance fee would be Rs 10 and for foreigners, it will be Rs 250. The Qutub Minar is an excellent place to photograph, especially from unusual perspectives.

The minaret is 72.5 meters tall, with five stories and a balcony jutting outward. The first three stories are composed of red sandstone, with marble and sandstone for the following two. The minaret's facade is adorned with fluted columns with a 40-centimeter thick red sandstone veneer. The minaret's 397 steps, which lead to the balconies, are another draw. On the walls of the minaret, words from the Holy Quran are engraved in the Kufic style of Islamic calligraphy. The minaret was used to call the devout to the Quwwat-UL-Islam mosque for prayers.

Qutub Minar, India's tallest minaret, is one of Delhi's most famous landmarks. Known as the 'Tower of Victory,' the minaret also signaled the commencement of Muslim authority in India. Every year, over 3.9 million people visit the structure in Mehrauli. The minaret, which is made of red sandstone and marble, is noted for its historical and architectural significance. The complex's minaret and other monuments have been designated as a UNESCO world heritage site. Qutb-ud-din-Aibak erected the foundation for the minaret in 1192, making it a famous example of Indo-Islamic architecture. It was created to commemorate Mohammed Ghori's victory over Rajput monarch Prithviraj Chauhan.
