Balihar Rajbari

Naogaon

The palace is located on the west of Naogaon - Rajshahi and 17km west of the town of Kurmail Mouza of Balihar Union. It being one of the oldest palaces in Bangladesh, holds so much importance in our archeology. Everyone should pay at least one visit there to see how neat the architecture of the place is. I absolutely loved my experience there being an ancient architecture enthusiast! Recommended 9/10

China Matir Pahar

Jamalpur

Such a beautiful and colorful place! Went there with my friends and hiked in the hills! Took us about 5 hours to explore the entire hill and definitely the time was worth the experience! The rainbow directly falling on the soil makes it look very colorful and the color of the soil is also very amusing. You can hire a motorbike there to roam around, that way you can explore the place faster but in my opinion, it isn't as fun compared to hiking!

Arifail Mosque

Sarail, Brahmanbaria

The mosque is located 15 kilometers from Brahmanbaria District and 0.5 km northwest from Sarail Upazila. It has wonderful architectural techniques and styles. Also crafts are seen outside the mosque which represents the beauty of The Taj Mahal. It's beautiful in a word. The mosque is also very huge; the floor is occupied by a 24.38m x9.30m rectangular area. Height is nearly 8 m. All of this information really speaks about the architecture of the place.

Egarosindur Fort

Kishoreganj

A lot of people say this fort was constructed by Bebuidiya (a Koch chief) and Isa Khan might have occupied it from Bebida. However this fort was constructed, Isa Khan sure did reconstruct the first and developed it as a powerful military base. And later Mansingh made an assault on the fort but he returned after concluding a treaty with Isa Khan. It shows how much history and importance this place holds!

Pailgaon Zamindar Bari

Sunamganj

The zamindar Bari has a lot of history attached to it. Apparently descendants of the Pal Dynasty lived here. And as time went on, “Das” family took their place. Pir Mohammad Badsha gave them the title “Chowdhury” and Ram and Sreeram were also descendants of the bloodline. Such a place that carried so much legacy and now carries so much history should be visited by everyone!
