The monument of Captain Mohiuddin Jahangir is situated at Rehaichar Moholla in the Chapainawabganj town. Visited the place a few time ago and had a great time there seeing a monument built for one of the martyrs of our historic liberation war. Would definitely visit again whenever possible. 10/10 recommended. The place says a lot about our history.

I went there with my family and had a great time. We went to Kuakata by bus first and then took a van to Ilish park. You can also take a launch to barisal and then get a bus for kuakata if you want.

We went from Dhaka so we took a direct bus from Gabtali bus stand and reached Faridpur bus stand which is quite close to the park! Just took a rickshaw afterwards to the park! 9/10 recommended.

It stands as the memory of those who died in the Bangladesh War of Independence of 1971, which brought independence and separated the country from Pakistan. The monument is located in Savar. It is about 35kmn north of Dhaka.

Went there 2 years back and still remember how convenient the journey to the place was. We took a bus from Gabtali (in dhaka) straight to Rajbari. Alternate way is to take a BRTC bus, reach Paturia, cross the river with a launch and take another bus to Rajbari. However you go, the journey is pretty affordable. You can go to the dighi with an easybike.

Most of the animals are kept in a very beautiful and comfortable environment. No animals are harmed/kept in a starting dirty environment which is one of the praise-worthy things about this park!

The mosque is styled perfectly and to some locals, the style is known as Khan Jahan Ali architecture, this kind of style is found around the south-western part of Bangladesh. The mosque however now is a protected monument and people from all walks of life visit the monument. I visited the place in 2018 and loved the architecture of the place.
