The building is beautiful, but it requires a lot of upkeep from the officials to keep its true splendor. A major tourist destination in India, however it is less appealing to visitors because to poor maintenance. There is trash all over the area, no adequate parking, and no management to take care of this wonderful location. I'd like to see it again in a nicer environment in the future. It is very similar to the Taj Mahal, but it was founded for almost the same intention - to be a memorial for a deceased wife.
