Sonadia is located at Kutubjom Union in Maheshkhali Upazila, 15 km north-west of Cox's Bazar District Headquarters. It is located at latitude 21.28˝-21.33˝ and longitude 91.50˝-91.56˝.

One of the best spots to invest your recreation energy in Bangladesh when visiting Cox'sBazar. It's only a 20 to 30 minutes speedboat visit from Cox'sbazar 6 No. Fisheries Ghat. I would propose to take a boat from Ghat to Sonadia Island. Appreciate the quiet regular magnificence, the ocean, the long white dark sandy seashore, greater waves at that point go for a stroll to principal island Moheskhali to appreciate the rest of the excellence of this extraordinary island.

An Amazing Island! Sonadia Island is situated about 7 Km from Cox's Bazar. If you like to visit the Island, you need to arrive at Maheshkhali Ghat of Cox's Bazar. Speed Boats and Trawlers are accessible to go to the Island. We recruited a speed boat, which required around 20 minutes to reach there. Excursion to the Island and back by speed boat was truly energizing. It's a little Island however wonderful and heaven for transient birds like ducks, ocean gulls, fowls and geese, and so forth
