The distance between Male and Dhangethi island is 87 kilometers. One reaches Dhangethi after a 90-minute excursion that includes a domestic flight and a speedboat. For USD 50 per person, you can rent a speedboat from Malé to go to Dhangethi. There are no direct ferries to Dhangethi, thus the ferry voyage is a little less expensive but takes much longer to get thither.
