2. The name of the waterfalls comes from a nearby bat cave in Thanchi area. The word Langlok means bat in Marma language. The fountain has a high flow of water specially during the monsoon. Best time to visit the waterfalls is during rainy season. One can travel from Dhaka to Thanchi,from there it is 2 hours to the waterfalls through Tindu. Tourists must need to take a good guide with them

There is a road where tourists can go by using vehicles as well but it is available until 7 pm. There is one canteen on the top where tea and some light snacks are available. It is suggested to carry some foods and water as it is going to take a long time to reach the top. Tourists are advised strongly to stay within the walking roads,as it can be difficult to find a lost person in the dense forest.
