A ferry can take you to Majuli Island. Boats depart from Jorhat, Assam, for Majuli At 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Visitors arriving at Guwahati International Airport will take around seven hours to reach Jorhat, from there they will take a ferry to Majuli Island. Jorhat, the nearest town to this island, is well connected by bus, train, and even has an airport.
